ABOUT REAL BABES MAGAZINE

​

REAL Babes Brand/Magazine is woman owned and operated by Molly Ann Cherry, a multi published Boudoir Photographer, Commercial Graphic Designer, as well as a published Alt Model.  REAL Babes Magazine is an inclusive, body positive, boudoir style magazine featuring CONFIDENT women identifying babes (cis/trans/femme NB) of every shape, shade, size, age, and orientation. Our mission is to give every day REAL women both experienced models and novices, the opportunity to grow in their individuality, grow their personal brand, and grow in self confidence. We pride ourselves on working with local community businesses, venues, fashion designers, and photographers to create stunning themed issues each month. REAL Babes brand  portfolio encompasses a magazine, clothing, and a sisterhood of confident-spreading REAL Babes.  Our mission is to be a strong force aiding to the movement of crushing societal beauty standards and norms.

The magazine is available for purchase in print and digital formats through MagCloud. Proceeds cover costs like venues, equipment, and paying photographers.

WORKFLOW

PRE-SHOOT

• Read all details in this guide.

• Book your session with the photographer at THIS LINK which covers specifics about each issue.

DURING THE SHOOT

• Arrive 5 minutes early, with hair and makeup done.

• Stay for the entire session for BTS (behind the scenes) and group photos unless pre-arranged.

• Capture BTS content (15-second videos or candid photos) to share in the group chat.

POST-SHOOT

• Remain in the group chat for updates on publication and photo downloads.

• Tag @realbabesmagazine, your photographer, and the venue in all posts.

WARDROBE GUIDELINES

• Themed shoots require themed outfits. Use the Pinterest board for inspiration if provided.

• Style the theme to match your aesthetic (e.g., a goth twist on a cowboy theme).

• Boudoir lingerie is highly encouraged. Layers can be peeled back during sessions.

• Nudity is never required. If you’re comfortable with implied or full nudity, start fully clothed and progress only if you feel at ease.

POSTING GUIDELINES

Wait until the magazine is published to post professional photos. BTS can be shared at any time. DO NOT POST WATERMARKED PREVIEW IMAGES FROM PHOTOGRAPHERS!

CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS

• Commitment: Last-minute cancellations may result in loss of future invites.

• Punctuality: Arrive on time, ready to shoot.

• Professionalism: No intoxication or disruptive behavior.

• Patience: Processing and publishing take time (21–60 days). Trust the process.​

FAQ

• Guests: No guests allowed unless pre-approved due to space and privacy concerns.

• Substances: Bring at your discretion, but intoxication won’t be tolerated.

• Food/Water: Bring your own unless provided by the venue. Support venues by purchasing food/drinks when applicable.
