ABOUT REAL BABES MAGAZINE
Hi this is Molly and I own and operate REAL Babes Magazine a body positive boudoir style publication featuring cis/trans women and afab femme presenting non-binary folx.  Occasionally we have cis/trans men or masc presenting non-binary for some themed issues. I am by trade a boudoir photographer (Cherry Pie Boudoir) and I also model as well. You might call me a modelographer. I work with models of every shape, shade, size, age, orientation. I am proudly queer and extremely sex and kink positive. I want you to feel comfortable knowing this is a safe space to be open and free as a model to express yourself in ways you feel most comfortable. In casess where multiple photographers are required, for maximum comfort I work with a trusted network of fphotographers for our themed issues unless we're partnering in another organizers event collabs.

The magazine is available in both print and digital formats for purchase after published on the Mag Cloud platform at the following LINK.  This magazine is not for profit and is a passion project. The fees collected are used for printing and operating the website, equipment an props used during the shoots. Thusly we cannot offer free publication to models or photographers as we would have to come out of pocket. Occasionally there are discounts available on MagCloud which are posted in stories and the model call channel if you subscribe. It is a small cost for an awesome souvenir. A link to the issue will be posted in the group chat.
 

BENEFITS For your time you will receive a minimum of 10 polished photos delivered via an online gallery link to your email if I have personally shot with you. Other photographers will have their own individual practices and photo delivery methods but are instructed to give a minimum of 10 photos per model.  You'll also get to meet new friends, network, grow your socials, and guaranteed published.

WORKFLOW

PRE-SHOOT

1. Read this page​

2. Fill out the model questionnaire below if you haven't already

3. Sign the model release (link at bottom of the page)

DURING -SHOOT 

1. Show up on time and makeup/hair complete

2. Photographers will find models to shoot with and ask you to shoot. You may also ask photographers to shoot with you. There will be time that you are waiting around to be shot. This is your time to do some BTS and/or mix and mingle with the other models and have some fun. 

3. Our photographers will direct you on posing and what to do throughout your session. 

4. Stay the entire session so we can get behind the scenes and group photos. Early departures should be arranged prior to the shoot via DM.

5. Capture BTS (behind the scenes) with other models and photographers. Try for videos no more than 15 seconds long, and candid photos.

POST-SHOOT

1. Remain present in group chat for announcements​ and publication info. 

2. You may post any BTS on any platform PLEASE TAG/CREDIT. 

3. Share/Post all BTS in the group chat so that others may post as well. 

4. Check group chat for download links or direct DM from your photographers. 

5. Tag your photographer, any venue host, and @realbabesmagazine no matter what. Tagging is an important part for exposure for us all. Photographers and other partners are instructed to do the same. Models who do not tag will be reminded to add a tag. Repeated reminders will

WARDROBE
For all themed issues it is required to come IN THEME. Show up with makeup and hair completely done before you arrive so that you can begin shooting right away. You may be instructed in the group chat to a Pinterest board with ideas for wardrobe. Always dress in your own aesthetic. So if you're a goth and we're shooting a cowboy themed issue show up as a goth cowboy, etc.  Most often we will be shooting at private locations and since this is a boudoir style magazine lingerie is highly encouraged. You can wear a themed outfit over your lingerie and peel back layers with each photographer to give yourself different looks. Please limit yourself to ONE outfit look unless instructed otherwise. Your outerwear and underwear must all be within the theme guidelines. Ultimately boudoir photography is to showcase sexiness and embracing our bodies as they are right now. Please definitely arrive in your version of sexy. Nudity is NEVER required.  If you are open to classy and/or implied nudity, our session will begin fully clothed and we will work our way to what lies beneath. If you feel comfortable shooting nude I ask that you only shoot those scenes with me since I am ultimately responsible for this magazine and it's models.

POSTING GUIDELINES

Wait to post photographer photos until after magazine is published. BTS can be posted any time before/after publication.

PHOTO USAGE
Photos may be used by all photographers on various social media platforms such as (FB/IG, Twitter/X, AdultFolio), their business websites, magazine publications (not limited to REAL Babes Magazine) and marketing materials/promotions. In exchange for your time you will receive free of charge a unique photoshoot experience, and a full set of professional photos from each photographer that you may use and monetize on any platform including fan pages.

CONDUCT

• Commitment
  If you are in the group chat that means you committed to the time/date of the photoshoot.  If you end up cancelling it takes away from another model that could have had your spot. Please do not cancel arbitrarily. Continued cancellations and no-shows are grounds for cessation of future model call invites. 

• On Time
  Models are expected to arrive ON TIME with hair and makeup complete before arriving. 

• Respect
  Models and photographers are to respect each other during the shoot. Keep things civil and handle any differences privately and not involve the whole group.

• Patience
  Photos take time to process, the magazine takes time to publish, this process could take anywhere from 21-60 days as we have multiple photographers involved with their own varying processing timelines. Practice patience please do not ask when the issue will be published or when you'll receive photos. Trust the process and know that you'll eventually get your beautiful set of photos to be posted.

• Professionalism
  Do not show up to the event intoxicated by any substance you will be dismissed. During the session we will trust you to practice sensibility and restraint and show up being present in the space.

FAQ

• Can I bring a friend or partner? 

• No unless you have an exception. We often have limited space and like to keep the space limited to models and photographers for privacy concerns.

• Can I bring alcohol, vape, cigs, MJ, edibles? 
  It is my preference that events remain sober however we are all adults with various comfort levels. Bring at your own discretion but you will be swiftly removed from the shoot if your performance is impacted. Certain venues may be restricted all together. Anything with smoke must be done far removed from the rest of the group.

• Can I bring food and water?
  If we are not shooting at a venue that has food and water please bring your own. If we are shooting at a venue please support the venue and purchase from them.
